The first main meaningful thing for me about this project is the fact that I'm now getting drawn into my dad's business. This interview has allowed me to better understand how my dad sees his business and the things he says would help make the business even more successful. This interview has gotten me even more interested in pursuing a career in business. It has helped me want to at least pursue a degree in business as well. My dad always wanted me to do something that would make me happy. This interview has allowed me to see I'm more interested in my dad's business than I was before. The other meaningful thing about this project is that it allowed me to put myself in my dad's shoes. I deeply thought about each of his answers and what my answers would be if I was in his shoes. I understand now better than ever before that my dad having this business is a big advantage for me. It also showed me just how much my dad understands this business. It has basically shown me that I have a professional businessman that could answer any questions I might have. So basically it has convinced me to pursue a career in business. |

This project was a great method to interact with an entrepeneur that has experience in business. The person i interviewed is a good example to follow because she had the same goals i do and she was capable of achieving them. She did everything necessary in order to obtain success. She had a degree in the field that she wanted to start her business on. She had no experience but she had the preparation that is essential to be successful. She set her lifestyle in the best way to fit her finances. This interview gave me the opportunity to comprehend the hard work of opening your own business requires. Patience is necessary because the first months you will not obtain the profit that you desire. Insurance is an obligation to have in the business. Equally important, an entrepeneur has to be ready to seek for new opportunities. Having a plan B that can come helpful if the business does not do well. For that reason, savings is vital to maintain yourself and pay off debts that the business might have. |

I think the most meaningful thing I learned is that when you take the time to really put your ideas in motion, they will work out good as long as you keep fighting for your dream. I learned a lot and got to see an in dept way on how to construct a business. I got the tricks of the trade from other business owners and a good network of successful people to help me get started when needed. I feel a whole lot more confident in starting my own business after learning all this information and seeing it fist hand. I think this project really forces you to get out and actually find out what different people did to get where they are at. I think everything I learned over this interview and tour to different places will make starting a business easier. I had a ton of questions and I got the detailed answers step by step. I got to witness the licensing process and how to start a business. This is a huge thing to me because once I get started and plan out my ideas I already know what to do next and ideas how to go about it. I feel like I’m already ahead of the curve. I received great advice and was able to discuss my future ideas with the owners and get their opinions. Overall it was great and I’m excited to see how I will construct my ideas and tips I learned in everyday life and in the business world. |

The most meaningful part of this project was the face to face conversationg and the knowledge and insight about things I never knew about. He was very encouraging and also helped me out with my current business idea. He loves what he does and it shows when he talked to me about his business which made me even more eager to venture onto my own project. |

The most meaningful thing for me about this project was the fact that I got to sit down with an entrepreneur and really discuss what it takes to be a successful business man. I never paid to much thought into being an entrepreneur myself until now. He taught me to not be afraid and do what you enjoy. People have always told me to do that, but it finally sunk into me that I can actually attain what I want. If I have my passion, and work harder than anyone else than that is the first step to be successful. I learned about some issues that affect a small business, the troubles and the hardships. I have learned that I need to do research to find if anyone is doing the same thing as I am doing in the market. I need to see if the business that I am doing is a walk in business or a destination type product. I need to know the location of my store and how that affects the customer success. He taught me to look for opportunities and take them. I have learned a lot in this project and I am willing to try out these different ideas and to apply them to my life. |

I think I learned a little bit more doing this project then I would just reading it in the book or in class. Im more of a visual learner or hands on. This helped me understand more of how to start up a business. Exactly what it takes to even start one. How much you need to start off. Im not sure if I'm interested in starting a business, but I think I might start one for my dad and just have him run it. He has more experience and I don't think I'm one of those people that would like to own one. When you think about it, it looks like I could open and run one pretty good. Just the fact that it takes a lot of money doesn't convince me. |

The most meaningful thing about this project for me was that not only did i get valuable information, but it came from someone I admire as an entreprenuer and person. My father has been working with this guy for 23 years now. I grew up knowing him and his family and knowing that he comes from a very successful entreprenuerial family. When we were assigned this project, he immediately came to mind because of his success he has had in running his business. The answers were not as thorough as i wanted them to be; nevertheless, they were very helpfull. I feel that I have got some good insight about what i should focus on if i want to start my own business. Some of the things that most grabbed my attention during the interview were the tips he gave me about establishing a set of vendors or customers. That i should try to focus or target a certain group of people, and try to set up a type of relationship before i actually start my business. This way once I start my business, I already have some sort of clientele. |

I learned that having a successful business is a lot of hard work. You have to know what you in detail everything about that certain business that you are looking to get into. You also have to comply with state and federal rules and regulations. Keeping your word as a business man is a huge deal if you don't you will lose respect and customers and that is one thing necessary for success in the business world. |

What was most meaningful to me about this project was that my entrepreneur actually took the time to sit down with me and answer my questions. Through this interviewing process i learned that starting a business is always difficult, and that there are many ups and downs. If you are consistently patient, in the end you will see how far your company has grown and expanded. I also learned that you have to be versatile with an open mind to adjust with constant changing market. It was important for me to meet an entrepreneur because he has gone through the process, and through him i could learn what are good and bad decisions to make for my own business. |

What was most meaningful to me about this project was how prepared and organized an entrepreneur needed to be in any situation. Being on top of your business meant that you could not slack and that I needed to think a lot longer before I get into a small business. I didn't think that opening up a small business would require as much work and stress as it did for him when Doctor Ryu began. Another thing I realized was that business education was extremely important because no matter what you do, almost everything requires some sort of a business structure. Being organized was very important to me because sometimes I slack off or I'm not on time and I don't realize how crucial that would be if I slacked off on my work in my business or I didn't pay for certain bills on time for my operating costs. Getting a business education was meaningful to me because I saw how successful Doctor Ryu's business was however, it could've been more successful in a better timely rate. |
