The most meaning information about this project was everything the entrepreneur was explaining about there business. The interview had some really good information about his business on how he works with there clients to make a good business relationship with the events planners and bands. you also need to have decent network skills in order to communicate clearly with your clients you are doing business with. I also learned that by going to school and learning more about other things can get you further in life which will help you in your business you are doing. |

I feel that the most meaningful thing to me was seeing that you can earn a good amount of money per year as long as you work hard for it. If you put in a lot of sweat equity towards the beginning of your business you’ll be pretty impressed of how easy your duties are in the long run. But most of the times I believe it is good if you inform yourself with knowledge before you jump right into it to try to prevent more than what you can handle. You should always keep yourself updated with new technology because they might expand your business more than you can imagine. You will also learn from your mistakes the longer and harder you work. I found that speaking to a professional gave me a lot of insight and he confided in me that he came across hard times but to always stay focused on your goal. Another thing the entrepreneur reminded me of was that we should also remember we have family and friends that can help us out whenever we need them whether it’s financially or mentally. If perhaps one day I was frustrated, ill, low on income and etc. they’ll be there to cover me. I also began to recall that as I had the idea to start a business, I would discuss it with my family and they were already being supportive so I know that when I need them, they will be there. When I interviewed this person, he showed motivation and determination as he spoke and I can see how proud he was of himself and that motivates me even more to get to that level. I learned one person’s perspective on how to start up and run a business. I gained some insight on the advice that one person gave me and now I feel inspired to learn about other people’s experiences and learn from other people’s mistakes even though I know that I have to make a few of my own. |

Many aspects about this project were meaningful to me and I will now give you a few examples. One of the most meaningful things about this project was all the knowledge that I gained from this experience. For instance I learned that all that it takes for someone to try and succeed running a small business. I also enjoyed spending time with my father and learning so much about his life’s work. Without this project I may have never token the time to learn about everything my father does in order to keep his business up and running. I also enjoyed the fact that I was able to pick at my father’s brain and was able to learn from his business knowledge. The fact that I was able to gain business knowledge was great but being able to learn it from my dad was the most meaningful thing of all |

This project taught me about meaning ful relationships that i need to have with businesses. It is important that i have to make sure that I have enough money set aside for that certain period of time to be able to sustain my business until proper profits start accumulating. Also that it is important to sensitive to my clients needs and always listen. A good listener goes along way in business. |

The most meaningful to me was everything. I learned a lot about the obstacles being faced in business. The most important to me was how she emphasized about maintaining the good relationship with the customers and employees. A happy customer would come back for more and even bring a friend. An unhappy would never come back. Employee relationship are also important as they are the gears of your business and if those gears rust and breakdown, the business would not be running as efficiently. Another thing for this particular business would be keeping up with the trend. It cost money to get information like a magazine subscription. If the next-door competitor has the latest styles and yours are still in last years, you will not thrive. I was glad I got to do this because I now know more about my mom's job. |

I really enjoyed doing this project because it gave me more of an understanding on how business works. I used to never want to get involved in anything that was business related. However, i have definitely changed my mind after doing this project and being in this class. This project was inspiring because i learned alot on how to start a business, and it has already gave me ideas that i hope to use in the near future. It gave me a sense of confidence because starting my own business is out of my comfort zone but now i am really thinking about it which makes me feel like anything is possible. Also, i chose to do it with the company my father works at as the assistant manager and plant engineer. I got to know alot about the background of the company like how the original owner was John Wieland, however, he passed away a few years ago and his kids Andy And Michelle Wieland inherited the business. They work hard to keep the company up and running so that was very admirable to see. They are also very nice to their employees and make them feel very comfortable since they have hard labor. It was a good example of a small company that is still thriving because of the good work ethic they have. In the end, i learned alot about starting a business and how to keep it going and felt inspired afterwards. It really has me thinking about my future and all the possibilites and benifits of having my own business. I plan on learning more about the whole business aspect and hope to actually use it in the near future. I got to spend time with my father at work along with the rest of the managers and owners. At the end of it they actually treated me out to have lunch with them, i felt like a business woman for a day! :) |

After interviewing my interviewee there was many things that i can take from my entrepreneurial interview. To start off, i learned the insight of entrepreneur of how to survive and thrive in your own business. His passion, service and commitment to quality proved to me that his vision and innovation will succeed in the long-term future. At a young age he has always had a passion for starting his own ice cream business which inspired me to start my own small business. I learned that its very hard to receive bank loans when you are a start-up business which means that I would need to save money and have extra for back up funds. After this whole interview everything that my entrepreneurial spoke with me about opened by eyes to starting my own business. His insight and experience will guide me through the challenges i know i will face and inspire me to innovate my own business. |

When we were first assigned this project I figured I would just interview my boss or something simple like that. Then I remembered that a family friend that has been in my life from the beginning owned their own business and it became clear who I should interview. Being able to get the insight of someone so close to me was wonderful. And seeing as I already knew them it was a lot more fun and enjoyable than if I were to interview someone I barely know. And this interview has added a whole new level to our relationship, a business level. This is what was most meaningful to me in the project, being able to build upon an already great relationship. Having them be able to give me insight on how I can achieve my future goals means a lot to me. And seeing what they have gone through to get to where they are now allows me to understand them on a new level. That is what was special to me about this project, having someone that has been in my life for so long push me to the next level of my life. |

One of the most meaningful things I got from this project is the insight from an actual small business owner. Being someone who has an interest in becoming a small business owner, this project sparked an interest in franchises. The busniess owner I interviewed made it a point to emphasize that research is necessary before you get into your business. Asking around and talking to other franchisees is important to gain insight into the business trends in the area. Talking to former business owners about their businesses and what they could have done differently interms of how they ran their business. Knowing that a lot of small businesses fail within a 3 year span is a great odd that needs to be overcome in order to be sucessful in running a business. There are many things to consider when opening up your business. Making sure that the busniess or franchise I choose will be solid and sustainable enough to make it past the 3 years but also be able to produce a profit. Even in a bad economy a small bussiness can thrive it just takes the right amount of research to make the right busniess choice, making sure you can support you business finacially and providing the best customer service in order to keep your customers happy. I liked the ability to ask the necessary questions that are important to new entrepreneurs. This project gave me the necessay insight into a healthy productive franchise and can have the potential to motivate me to never settle for less and take the approach of how am I going to make my busniess work. |
