What was my most meaningful part? I did not just have one most meaningful thing. The whole project was a wonderful learning expirience. It showed me not just the good things from a small business but the harder times as well. Starting a business is not going to be a cake walk. I will need to plan things out financially. Which will help better my business. This project was execeptionally meaningful because I wasn't really grasping some of the concepts and challenges presented throughout this interview. I learned that it takes not only alot of patience but alot of persistance in building clientel. In doing so, it will help me excell in every way when constructing my business. This interview took me through hard times such as budget, structural and management problems. I learned how to work through some of these problems and have an ease at mind. To try to not get stressed. Overall this project has had a positive affect on me. |

What I enjoyed most about this project was getting to know the other side of my unlce's personality when it was all about business. I can tell he is very dedicated to what he does because of the long hours he puts into his work. Knowing the ins and outs of how he runs his store is valuable information because I feel he mentioned most of the important things I should worry myself about when starting a business. Because it's a family owned business, the income he makes for himself is to support his entire family so for him everything is riding on the line for things to work out. I could sense his frustration at times when the economy would come to mind, as would any business owner because there just isn't enough consumer going around. It certainly takes a lot of energy out of him but I'm proud to say he gives it all he has because any small business that survives this economy must be doing something right. As much as a risk it is to start up your own business, my uncle values the opportunity he has been given. In doing so he proves that in this country can you start from nothing and one day own your own store. Throughout my life I've seen him do just that, and that is what is most meaningful to me. Opportunity is everyone in this country is given, entrepreneurs have the hindsight and the right ideas to go out and achieve success in what ever market they get into. This project opened my eyes to what a man with goals and ideas can achieve. |

The most meaningful to me about this project would have to be the fact that I am gathering all of this information directly from the main source, the business owner himself. It was a great feelinjg to know I was actually talking directly to the person in charge. The information I gained from this interview is definitely something I can apply to my career if I were to ever open my own business. It really meant a lot to me that the business owner took the time out of his busy schedule to do the interview with me. I am quite sure he had plenty of tasks to do that day. I felt really enlightened after the interview was over. He really gave me some valuable information. One of the most important questions that was answered was, how to survive and thrive in a business. I think that it is very crucial to know because no one wants to see their business fail and not thrive. I really enjoyed doing the interview, I gained a lot of knowledge. Now that I have this valuable information, I feel like I already have an upper hand on new business owners that I may have to compete with some day if I decide to open a business. Overall, the whole project was meaningful to me. And I found a new mentor along the way. |

The most meaningful thing about this project to me was seeing how important [Name removed] work was to him. Regardless of whether he's making any sort of money or not, he still continues to do everything he can to be the best NFL Draft scout that he can be. It's the passion and dedication to doing what he loves to do that really inspires me to follow my dreams, wherever they may lead me. Even if what I want doesn't pay the bills, he has proven that you can still do what you love without having to live a subpar life. More than anything, being an entrepreneur allows you to follow your dreams no matter what road life leads you down. For the last few years, I've wanted to be a sports writer and now feel better about the chances of that coming to fruition. If Mr. Spencer can be a scout then there's no reason I can't be a writer. Money or not, being happy and doing what gives you a sense of fulfillment in life is what's important. The biggest takeaway, however, is that in order to achieve your dreams and keep doing what you love to do, you need to work hard and strive to be the best you can be. |

I think the most meaningful thing I learned about this project is that it does not matter how many business courses you take, or how many degrees you have, some people are just natural born entrepreneurs like [name removed]. He is only 38 years old and his business has been pretty successful. He never took formal business classes and he managed to survive and expand. I also learned that it is essential to know about business administration, because you can sale a lot, but if you don’t administer the business like it should be you can go bankrupt in no time. I think this was very meaningful because as a business student, I realize that it is not impossible to start from scratch and be pretty successful if you put your mind, effort, and time into it. Of course in order for this to become a reality you have to be very careful when it comes to making choices about the finances of your business. This really gave me an insight on what it is and what is needed to own a business. |

I have tried to stay up to date with the company since it started. So when the project was introduced I knew exactly where to look for an interview. I had the opportunity to see what goes on behind the scences of the company which a lot of people usually do not get the chance to do. I got to meet everyone within the company from the creators to the web designers to those in charge of marketing. I could tell that everyone took their job seriously and was serious about the company. They have come a long way especially on their website, it was amazing to see that they have gotten hits from all over the world as well as shipped all over. From a marketing standpoint they try to offer deals on social sites such as Facebook and Twitter. They have held promotional parties as well as basketball tournaments with the winners getting the new products that they have released. Sitting in on a meeting was also a great experience because I had the opportunity to see a real meeting in action and a lot of good ideas were pitched. This gave me the feeling that I could run meetings for a company in the future. I do hope I have the chance to be interviewed by an aspiring entreprenuerone day because this was a great experience for both the company and myself. |

While conducting my interview, I learned many things about business that could help me throughout my career. I liked the advice that he gave me because it was from personal experience and he did it to help me. I appreciated the time he took out of his busy schedule to do the interview. I also appreciated that he was passing the advice on to me. With this I can use this advice in the future to help benefit me and my company. The advice is not only pertaining to one company, but to many aspects of life as well. I also learned that you have to have passion for the have for work you do because if you don’t than you’re never really giving it your all. It also inspires me to face the challenges ahead of me in my career with an open mind and always with a second plan. Overall, he was focused on the importance of education to better a business instead of just focusing on the money. He also taught me to have an open mind in a bad economy and always tackle your challenges with a hopeful mentality. When pursuing a career you have to be fully focused on it and make sure it’s something you like doing, and if you do all of this correctly your effort will show in your work. |

Many say to be an entrepreneur it takes a lot of guts, to have the ability to hold your own ground in the sense where money and loans is a big issue. My dream to be an entrepreneur all falls back under real estate property. I know now that to be the best in my field of work I have to get well connections with investors that can trust me and rely upon myself to do the best in my business. After earning an Investors trust I have to do my part to complete my side of the contract. To find an entrepreneur so successful and with great advice was a very good source of help on my part because it opened my mind to want to go out and establish my own business. Even though my plans in becoming a real estate broker were always set, this project has had me on the verge to be the best and strive for the stars. Sky is the limit in my agenda and nothing less, the goals and dreams I have for myself fall in the same road, the entrepreneur took to become what he proudly mentioned. This was his successful business and great cash flow that he has in revenue coming in annually. |

I would say the three most meaningful factors about this project are: the owner is a long time friend of mine, this particular business is one of my passions and I would like to open my own automotive shop in the future and I feel this will help me when that time comes. Ever since I was a child, I have always been into cars, and it later turned into one of my passions. Since I was 16, I would help my father with the routine maintenance on his Truck and it was always an enjoyable experience. I was told once, "If you're going to do something for a living, make sure it's something that you love." I took this to the heart, as the thing I am most passionate about is cars. I used to love watching races on TV and wondering what makes them so fast. Through my tinkering as a teenager, I became more interested in working on cars. I have had the pleasure of helping Jose at Kaizen Motorsports countless times and each time, I felt I left with a lot more knowledge. Also, through my experience at Kaizen, I feel I can accomplish just as much as he can because he didn't see me as future competition, but as the friend that I am. Looking into the future and imagining myself in Jose's shoes really put a jolt into my path and help me look forward to the day that I, too, can own and operate a shop. |
