This particular project had enabled me to learn the intricacies involved in venturing on a marketing business.  It had broadened my views that now I know that several factors, some of them even surpassing the boundaries of one’s country, need to be considered before finally deciding on the simple task of pricing.  Perhaps more importantly, my interview with Mr. Martin opened me to the reality that I still have a lot to learn before I can finally begin my own venture into the complicated world of business.  Never have I considered before that the economy of another country which is halfway around the globe could affect our everyday existence, even in the most basic of our necessities, such as in clothing.  Perhaps this is whatis truly meant by the popular adage, “The global community is one big family”.

One of the most meaningful thing for me is getting to know how a proven entrepreneur thinks.I love getting inside a successful person's mind. How they proccess always seems to amaze me. Being an entrepreneur means that your always working, even though your not at work.Your mind is always on your business and you know you always have to take care of it.Being a sole proprietorship means you fall when your company does. As a result, i highly respect those entreprenuers and the way they think.

Another meaningful thing about this project is that i grew closer to my uncle.
My uncles busniess is very active and he took time out of his busy schedule so
i can interview him. I got to know a lot about his company and all his problems. One day it is known that him and I will partner up, so we can run the business up.So I was very excited to get the chance to interview him and get a first taste of his and my future career.

I never thought that becoming an entrepreneur required so many things that are needed to survive as one. What I admire most is the endurance successful entrepreneurs have that many people do not have. The entrepreneur journey is truly a hard one in which if you succeed then you will emerge to become a new and outstanding person. I am scared of the unknown most of the time, but I realize you will never go anywhere if you don't face your fears. I learn that I should not expect anything but to have faith in what I do because the impact of a loss is less when you believe then expecting a certain result. The values in which entrepreneurs put with their work have inspired me to put the same values as they do but to my school work and personal life problems.
I am interested in how high the risk are when you are a entrepreneur but the returns are as high as the risk. Having high risk which may result in high loss or returns assumes me because this is such a deadly game and people are willing to play it. I learn that most successful entrepreneurs become that way by the uniqueness of their products and that new ideas are always needed to keep progressing. I hope that in the future i can learn to use these skills to build a good mind set and not back out when things go wrong. The ability to stay when things turn bad have taught me that by doing so, it teaches you the lessons of how to gain profit even in the worst situations because most people leave, they never learn. Overall, I find that the fighting spirit for entrepreneurs is the most important key in becoming successful in both business and life. I hope to find that fighting spirit someday so that I will have the courage to do what I want.

Having the chance to talk to someone who started and ran his own business was very meaningful to me.  I learn alot about just how to start a business, which I am thinking about doing sometime in my life.  Learning about how important word of mouth can be and also how risky it can be was a big plus for me as well.  Marketing also having a huge effect on a company.  With no market I truly learned you have no company, or one that wont last long.  Creating a demand for your product is the best way to create a market for your product but also can be very difficult to someone who does not know how to sale a product.  If people don't want or need the product, they will not buy it.

In talking to Mr. Kuntz for over an hour he told me many stories he experienced in the 40 plus years he ran the business.  He helped teach me lessons that he learned the hard way.  He told me a few of the mistakes me made and explained how he corrected them if he even was able to.  The knowledge I gained from this interview is priceless when to me in figuring how I want to run and operate my own business, and how to attract and keep customers.  I strongly believe that this interview helped me better understand what it is to truly organize and run your own business.

First and foremost, upon completing this project, I wanted to do something that would relate to me. I came across Ms. Contreras a couple of weeks after starting BUSM66. I knew I wanted to interview her because I saw my reflection in her. She was goal oriented, very professional, and she knew information that was withheld from common sense pertaining to the body. One meaningful aspect of this project that holds my importance is being able to relate to the business owner. Although I want to work in a different business environment, I still saw myself. She runs the store all day by herself, gets busy with customers, answers the phone lines and e-mails (from her cell phone), and juggles two teenagers at home (not to mention competitors). One of the key aspects I am learning with being a manager at my prior job is balance. And she balances well which makes her a great influence.
Another meaningful aspect is she works at a place that concerns every single person. She works with body building and being fit. In order to keep her customers motivated and convinced, she needs to maintain a level of fitness that appeals to potential customers. Everyone would love to put time into their body and know all of the nutrients and diets to keep it how they want it. She has that time and makes it a priority to make her body happen. How cool is that? She gets paid by selling her products and using them with diet and exercise which is excellent because she looks great. Ms. Contreras works with a lot of personal trainers and members of various fitness clubs. So she is well networked and has her customers wear her shirts. It is one of her ways of advertising.
After realizing I was not healthy for most of my life, I decided to change that by going to the gym and dieting. Knowing about all of the risks and sicknesses out there (especially ones that are caused genetically) is scary. It is my duty to keep myself healthy internally and externally which is why I chose to conduct this interview. It does not stop here. My health and the health of loved ones surrounding me will continue to progress and remain strong.

This interview has been very meaningful to me because it has opened my eyes to many different aspects of what it takes to run a successful business. From this interview I now have a better and more informed understanding of how a day care center is run and operated. Laura has provided much insight into what is involved in this process of maintaining an outstanding day care environment. I am very inspired by Laura's vision to succeed. Furthermore, Laura has a direct focus not only on short term success but also on the overall growth and development of her business. I found it interesting that Laura started this business based on her own personal ideas and interest. This helps me to understand that running a business is possible to maintain when there is a great interest in the business itself. I appreciated how Laura cared deeply about the development of childhood education and not just her financial success. From this interview I  have also learned that it is important to exercise discipline when operating a business as well as continue to remain highly aware of the changes in regulations, and new technologies in the business environment. Laura's successes has definitely encouraged and motivated me to start my own business in the near future.

After interviewing my uncle about his business, I was very pleased with the interview, because I learned a lot on how my uncle runs his business and stays happy, also he really uses resources that we have. The most meaningful part of this project to me was the first question, because it is the foundation of how to maintain and succeed in a business. It is necessary to be friendly in your business that is a must, also setting yourself to be in a organized environment is important. I am glad i got to interview my uncle about his business, it is interesting to learn and discuss on how certain businesses need to be managed and noticed.

By doing this project i learned that there are a lot of risks that need to be considered before jumping into owning your own business. Before i completed this project i didn't understand how important adapting to change and allowing risk into your business really is. I also learned that you should be passionate about whatever type of business you are going into because there are many aspects that need to be covered. You need to be aware that technology changes and keeping up with changes of the world are important like new equipment or software.Being knowledgeable about your business is also very important because everything is constantly changing. With that said it made me think of how hard it may actually be to keep up with all the change.

I think the most important thing i learned would have to be about competition and the resources that the world has to offer. Before speaking to Mr. Echegoyen
i would have never thought there were magazines or websites that covered the latest news of insects or bug sprayers. It opened my eyes to the fact that there are resources and tools out there to help you make the most of your business. It was strangely relieving that i know know how much the world does have to offer, i feel like if you take advantage of all the resources out there than you can be a competitive entrepreneur. Competition is very important and i was discouraged at first when it was brought to my attention of how much there really is but now that i know there are tools out there made to help me succeed i feel more confident.

The most thing I found meaningful was at the end of my interview, my interviewee told me to never quit, and always keep my dreams ahead of me. Never let nobody bring me down and keep moving forward with my business. When he told me that, it inspired me to make my business that I've been dreaming about... to make it come true.
All I have to do is work hard and put myself in the right position to be successful. I mean, yes I'm going to have speed bumps and road blocks in my way but I feel as if I can conquer those blocks and progess with my work, then I can do anything. As long as i put my mind to it anything is possible, that's how I see it. Thats what I found meaning to me while doing this project.

This project made me realize that to be successful in business you must be very passionate and knowledgeable. Passion is needed to ensure that you have the dedication to make your business work. At first things can be very difficult but you just have to be willing to work hard and also be willing to make risks. If you are afraid to make risks your business will not grow. That means you also will not increase profit.

Another thing that stood out to me was the abundance of knowledge necessary to successfully run your business. It becomes apparent that their is a correlation between business knowledge and success. It seems that the more you know every facet of your business the less likely you are to make mistakes. therefore it will maximize your profits. It was strong encouragement for me to pursue further education
