I found this project to be very useful, I learned so much. It made me realize that it's not easy to start a business, at first it's going to take some time to actually start making money. I also learned that it's best to start a business in the area that people will always need your services. In this case it has to do with DUI offenders, I'm sorry to say this but there will always be drunk drivers and they will always need this service. This project also made me realize the benefits of a franchise. the business owner I interviewed will never have to worry about Marketing or advertisement. He won't even need to worry about the accounting side of things. I think in this case a franchise was a perfect choice for him because he had the corporate office giving him direction and feedback on what steps to make to make his business successful. |

I thought this project in whole was meaningful. The process of going through different questions of asking how, what, when, why of his business was insightful. I enjoyed because I got a little bit of understanding of what he thinks is important in business and then some challenges he is facing. In any business there will always be obstacles, how you handle them is a reflection upon your business. I learned about having a business plan and where I could go for help with financing my business. A great process especially when I knew my interviewee personally. |

- During the time I spent on this project I have learned more than I expected. I really value the answers I received from my entrepreneur interview. The process was not as hard as I thought it would be. Being able to talk to someone about his or her business was very eye opening. Without this project assigned I can guarantee I would have never asked anyone the questions used in this assignment. Learning about someone’s business is very helpful; I find it to be the most meaningful thing about the project. I can walk away from this, learning so many great things to move forward with my own business. - I never knew how hard or what people go through in a business until this project. I’m excited to be able to go out and use what I have learned when I’m ready to start my business. I feel comfortable being able to talk to others about their business and get hints about things. During my interview not only did we discuss the questions, he also went into details about further things that can help me. He was able to open up to me about things going on in the country that I probably wouldn’t have known about if I didn’t interview him. overall this project was a great experience for anyone who wants to move forward with business. |

I think the interviewer was very knowledgeable and has had a great amount experience. He may not be the most successful individual that I know of the several people I could have interviewed. He was polite, straight to the point and honest. Which seems like he has great characteristics in owning a business. Not everyone has it perfect but I think education is the key. If he had a much greater education I think he would of been far beyond the level he has been. My favorite of his interview is when he said you need good credit and that forever will be my main thing to focus on. Now finally I am going to talk about how I would run the business differently from what I learned. I will provide the best possible customer service with a great attitude and get work done at a great pace but done well. My main goals are to establish a good credit in order to establish a business and hope pressures don't encounter me. Start as soon as possible and pretend I got more pressure than what I imagine. What am I waiting for you may ask. Well I am always thinking and writing things down so I don't find that a waste of time. |

I was really thrilled to interview someone I have always looked up to. It was very intriguing to see the ideas and thought process similarities we shared. I feel that his messages on staying focused was the biggest impact for me. I really enjoyed this project, because it assisted me in actually sitting down with an entrepreneur and seeing their ideas and their viewpoints in total. After the project I knew it was time to go. It was time to clear my mind and start a new process in life and business. All in all , I feel that the concepts were on point and very clear and concise. This was a great project in assisting me to formulate decisions and an overall business plan. |

The most meaningful thing to me about this project was the ability to not only get a personal insight to a business but to get advice as to what to do prior to running a business. When interviewing my entrepreneur, the question regarding going back in time and studying three topics before you got into your business really stuck out to me the most. By seeing what the entrepreneur that I was interviewing could have done I was able to understand and use that information for myself, regardless of the particular business that my entrepreneur was running. By the entrepreneur identifying the subjects that they could have studied, I could now study those subjects myself, for instance in the case of my entrepreneur marketing to see how it would affect and enhance my business performance and give me more knowledge as to assist my own business in the future. To expand on another meaningful thing about this interview was seeing the challenges my entrepreneur faced in the industry that their business is located in and that information could help me as something I can evaluate prior to setting up a business for myself. Competition, individuality, and marketing were the biggest challenges for my entrepreneur and I feel as if those challenges can be applied to one or more industry of business. When looking at the challenges, I was able to see what I could do to prevent coming upon those challenges and to avoid them in the future. If I did stumble upon them, which I probably would, I could be informed ahead of time by knowing that challenges such as those exist, and possible solutions exist too. From my entrepreneur, what was most challenging of all was marketing and I take that into a large consideration seeing that marketing is far more important than I ever had given it credit for and I am definitely going to spend time studying marketing and how I can apply it to my "future" business. Overall, I could say that this whole interview was extremely informative and meaningful and opened my eyes to things that I had never thought were important in running a business, and gave me knowledge as what I could do for myself and what to expect. |

The interview is very good for me, because I have learned many things from a successful businessman. He told me many things that I should do now or what I should pay attention to in the future times. This is a very good experience for me, because I gained not only business knowledge, but also communication skills in formal. In my opinion, from this interview, marketing and accounting are the most important two things for a company. The first is the marketing. Whatever career do you, the marketing is the most important part for a company. You should know the goal of you company, in the short term and in the long term. When you know the goal, you should have a plan, work on the goal. You have to be careful on every step. Such as: you should know who is your main customs. When you know who is. The next one you should know, how can you find them? Step by step, I believe you will find you customers and catch them. In the future, no matter what will I do, I will find the goal, and work hard for it. The second is accounting. After the interview, I think that the accounting is more important than the management. Because accounting is the language of the business, if a leader wants to make a decision for some things, the leader should base on the accounting data. So a leader has to have some knowledge on accounting, then he or she will make a right decision. I will attend accounting course. I do not want to make any wrong decision for my own company in the future. |

I have to say, this project is very helpful to me. Everything needs action to prove it. Just like science hypothesis, we need experiments to prove it. This project gives me a chance to know more about the social life and business. The owner of the business gave me many suggestions and experiments which help me to start a business. She taught me that costumers feeling is very important because they will come back next time, or tell his friends to buy my product. A good relationship between the buyer and seller is every helpful for the business. I also learned that quality is every important for a business. The things that business sells need the acceptation from the costumers, so they will come back. Quality is way before the relationship. Costumers only talk to you if the products are good and they like it. Costumers will only give you suggestions but not help you improve your products. After that, relationship between boss and workers are important too. Workers only working hard when the boss treat them good. So boss need to know what the workers want so the products can sell more. |

The most meaningful things to me in this project are that I understand how does that kind of company running, and see problem from a entrepreneur. In this case, entrepreneur’s company is a commercial trading company. They purchase products from many different producers, like sign the contract with them, so they will sell products to them in a period of time. When the time comes, company will decide if they are going to continue or leave. After that, the sells departments that contain two parts, one is the sales men who will go to every small stores in the city and introduce to them about the product to see if they want to put the products into their stores. If they do, they will get the part of profits after they sell them. Other part is in charge of group purchases, which need to find the connection of these big company and government. As we know they are usually have a stable demand of wines. So their deals are usually for long terms, they will purchase from employees by seasons in big quantity. This is what I learned that how does this company works from this interview. Other thing I learn from this interview is that see the problem from entrepreneur point of view. When his company got problems, he will find the solutions to solve it. For example, in the economy down turn, their sales are keep decline. In order to profit at this situation, he reduced the staff trimmer, created the online shopping, try to get the connection with these big clients. All these actions are only on one purpose that is keep company profit. Once the problems are solved companies can continue running. On the other hand, he is trying to make the balance between many companies of his. He started this wine company for the mining company, because the mining company was losing the money. Form a entrepreneur point of views, he want always makes the company profit, otherwise it will be nonsense to do these business. |

The most meaningful part to me about this project is being able to personally talk to an entrepreneur who has skills and experience in the business world. Also, to be able to talk to someone whom I can look up to as a mentor. I believe that the best way to find inspiration is to meet people and hear their stories, rather than just reading from a book. It is always nice to meet people that are goal-driven and passionate in what they do. I love hearing about what motivated entrepreneurs to start their own businesses. I admire entrepreneurs’ hardworking personality and I respect the fact that they are willing to take huge risks for a better future and to accomplish their dreams. I believe that entrepreneurs are one of the most motivated and driven people out there. I love meeting and being able to talk to people that have so much knowledge to offer. I also was able to learn about what challenges or difficulties they faced. I find that talking to people with the same life goals as mine give me the best inspiration and motivation to chase my dreams regardless of any obstacles along the way. I learned that networking is very important. I am the type of person that hates asking for help, but after this interview, I learned that it is okay to not be able to do everything on your own and that you should ask for help rather than overwhelming yourself with all this workload. I enjoy projects like this as I was able to talk and converse with a real entrepreneur, rather than just reading a book and writing a long research paper about it. |
