NAICS: 424 Merchant Wholesalers, Nondurable Goods
Description: Live Aquarium shrimp wholesaler and retailer
I have always been passionate about sea creatures, I often go fishing and have an interest in the aquarium. I always wanted to start a business and I am a business major as well. I started off buying shrimp from a friend and was given wholesale price for it. I realized that since I was able to get shrimps for wholesale price I can sell it for more. I then began buying shrimps in bulk and started selling on ebay and social media for a year. I was able to make a lot of revenue. Then I met people with the same interest/hobby as I do and we decided to merge. My initial goal is to turn my hobby into a career as well as expand my knowledge, create awareness about shrimps, and grow my business. Provide wholesale and expand retail locations to make sure everyone in the United States will be able to have access to buying shrimps that they want. To expand my business I am trying to move part of my company to Chicago since it would be cheaper and less competitive.

NAICS: 446 Health and Personal Care Stores

It just so happens that I really enjoy the health and wellness industry and trying to better the women's community. My initial goal was to work for a top fortune 500 company and have a career with job security. I have to say though, that I really enjoy working in a start-up company where their success is my success. I get a greater load of responsibility as well being able to work with high profile clientele and agencies. It gives me a sense of satisfaction to work on a project whether on manufacturing or advertising my day to day is never typical I am working with multi-aspects at a time.

NAICS: 722 Food Services and Drinking Places
Description: small burger cafe
I got into this by a fluke. I was actually asked to help the prior owners market their place as a favor to a friend. Then my dad and boyfriend both had severed health problems at the same time. My prior occupation involved traveling approximately 7 months out of the year and mostly out of state. The owners contacted me while I was in Arizona working and said they were going to close and made me an offer that was easy monetary entry. So, I made the move into this industry purely to be close to my family, help care-give to both of them, and have the flexibility of making my own hours. I never - ever even thought of doing anything in the restaurant industry personally, so it came as a shock to many that know me, still is to me at times.

NAICS: 454 Nonstore Retailers
Description: Online Retailer
Basically, I got into this business by accident. I had an extra room in my apartment that I had been renting out to tenants. The thing about having had an apartment near the beach was that the tenants were always changing. They would come and go very often. So one day I decided to use the extra room to store some books and to sell it online. I ended up generating more income than I did actually renting out the space to people. And so that was the start of my business. You could say my initial goal there was to make up for the income I was missing out on by no longer renting out to tenants. Eventually the goal became to grow the business I ended up starting.

While I was studying financing and business administration in college at San Diego State, Snap- On actually found me and recruited me to work for their business. My positive personality and my educational background has helped me to be successful and has also helped me attract the right kind of entrepreneurial energy. My initial goal from the start was to make a profit in a business. After all, that is what everyone is after right. NAICS: 713 Amusement, Gambling, and Recreation Industries
Description: Fitness Center
I began my journey in the fitness industry over 10 years ago after graduating from college when I was hired as a personal trainer. I had always been active growing up with baseball being my passion. I played college baseball and even reached the minor leagues but after that chapter of my life ended I got into the fitness field. Being a personal trainer, I learned the ins and outs of running a gym while also growing a customer base that would come in handy down the road. Over time I started to get the idea in my head into maybe I should open my mine fitness center because I was tired of making someone else boatloads of money while I only got a small cut of it. Becoming my own boss was the greatest feeling to have because I was finally getting my fair share of the hard work I put into the business. Being able to make a comfortable living while also helping my community in reaching their fitness goal is the reward I love must.

NAICS: 621 Ambulatory Health Care Services
Description: Chiropractor business
Decided to get into this business because he enjoyed learning about sport related injuries and his burning to help others. He had a passion to help others, for example if his brothers or parents had aches and pains he would do his best to make them feel better. His initial was he felt that being a chiropractor was his best fit for his future. He also told me to always chase your dreams and try new things because you never know what opportunities you could be missing out on. Becoming a chiropractor was his primary goal from the beginning. As a child, he was involved in many sports and would always get hurt and so would his teammates. He was very interested with how the body healed and what little things you can do to heal quicker. I feel that following your dreams is the best way to go, if you feel you are being called to do what you love then I believe you should go for it and not hold anything back.
