Ha, well, as you know from our time working together in the homeloan business, crunching numbers and signing papers and faxing papers and all that stuff bored me everyday. Plus all the lies we had to tell and the cheating it was too much to handle, I couldn't even sleep at night but I had to for my kid you know not all of us can be so cold hearted like you huh. iwas looking for az way out years before but nothing was worth it. I'm a creative person I wanted to create something like clothes, shoes, bags, etc. so when the company went out of business I finally had a chance. I thought to myself for a while why not now you know. So I decided to pursue my dream and start my own business. Plus I really love clothes as you can see from my outfit. Don't you just love my shoes.

NAICS: 339 Miscellaneous Manufacturing
Description: Picture Framing Manufacturer
Well, before this business, I have been in this trade for over 25 years. I have worked for other companies and it was a great experience into learning the trade and managing the business. I know how to put together every frame we use, I know how to use every machine in the warehouse, when it comes down to it I am a worker for my own business too. I opened the business because it is what I know how to do. I had all the resources and techniques to get my own business up and running. My initial goal was to make money. Isn’t that everybody’s goal? I mean this world revolves around money and if you can use your skills to make it why not right? Without a college degree it is hard to move onto something else when this is your trade to make money.

NAICS: 512 Motion Picture and Sound Recording Industries
Description: Rehearsal space for band practice
I got into this business because of a love of music.  That's pretty much it.  I wanted to provide a place for likeminded people.  There weren't any other rehearsal studios near hear at the time, so I thought it would be a good idea.  I originally wanted to open my own recording studio, but the high expense of starting one kind of stopped me.

NAICS: 448 Clothing and Clothing Accessories Stores
Description: [custom] handmade accessories/jewelry shop
Originally, I had always made my own accessories because I actually didn't like to see other people with the same accessories that I had. [Selfish, I know.] I realized that I could make a little money off of it here and there because my coworkers at the restaurant that I had been working at would constantly ask me for something unusual, and they would pay me. I tried three times selling at small local fairs, and I did well at those events. I decided to bring my work onto the internet, and although it has only been about 5 and half months, I'd say that I have had better luck than many on the same host site that opened shops around the same time that I had.

NAICS: 811 Repair and Maintenance
Description: Automotive Services
3. The reason I went into automotive was because I have always had different cars as a teenager and a young adult that were not in the best conditions. I really could not afford to have them repaired at an automotive shop so I learned to fix them myself. It was something that I enjoyed doing, problem solving. I worked for someone else for many years and wanted to be my own boss and have contact with people because I like communicating with people.

Description: Loan Servicing Software for Consumer
Well as you know me and my wife needed a job to get by after the war and support our family. So we needed a business both of us can operate that is beneficial where I work the sales and my wife works the finances. At the time an old friend of mine from the war mentioned a possible idea of running a small building by servicing software for the consumer. At the time it sounded great. But during the fifties, there was no software so I sold typewriters. And my goal was to sell as many as I can, before my competitors can.

Well,I started about 16 years ago when I needed another job becuse i had a son and another on the way. Before i was working as a cameraman in a show on a spanish network similar to Cops. then i want to a trade show and i saw a gentalman selling a simial adhesive called Pasco Fix. He said he was looking for a spanish speaking person to help him out. So he showed me the pitch and I started working at different shows. Then people would by the product but I thought it was a bit too expensive. So then i decided to branch off and do it my way. I found suppliers for every componet at a cheaper price and now anywhere I go People recognize my product and they love it!And now I get repeat business and I also supply it industrially and retail to the public.
