I started out working for someone who wanted me to sell at the flea markets. Realizing I can do it on my own, I in turn started my own business venture. The mark ups for clothing ranged 50% to 300%, making it a sufficient amount of income. Simply stated, the main reason is not really having a reason at all. It is just a passion I that I have and I made it into a career.

NAICS: 722 Food Services and Drinking Places
Description: Sushi Restaurant
I worked as an opening restaurant consultant.  Every restaurant had their agenda as well as operations.  Working through multiple restaurants gave me the knowledge and understanding what was required as well as potential and goal for the organization.   I got into my business knowing the facts of restaurant business and the sales potential.   My original intention was to increase sales dramatically within a year and sell it in an inflated market.  However the business had a drastic increase in profit revenue.  Sales outbid the criteria for selling the business.

NAICS: 315 Apparel Manufacturing
Description: Streetwear Clothing Company
My parents always owned a business when I was a child. When I was in college I got into art then got a job at a clothing company, after that then wanted to do clothing. No initial goal when it began, just wanted to actually do something I said I wanted to do. Came up with philosophy of randomness and saw it as the vision of the future and in my mind it was guaranteed success. I waas really shooting in the dark but didn't want to be like the people who always say they're going to do something and open their own "X" but never do it.

NAICS: 311 Food Manufacturing
Description: Tea Place to Hang Out
I was out with my son and daughter the one day and they wanted to get something to drink. We went to the small Tapioca Express place near our house in San Gabriel and even though it was small, they had a lot of customers. The things they were selling also didn't cost a lot and it was very easy to make. Therefore I got the idea that I could do it too and so I call the franchise and they said they were willing to work with me. Starting the business was not as easy as I thought because I had to go through all the training and the briefings and the contracts and all these other agreements. You will see that in business, nothing is as easy as it seems. You have a lot of responsibility. I just wanted to make the easiest money possible so I thought why not just sell drinks for people to relax and enjoy.
