When I was seventeen years old I bought my first car on my own, I worked and saved all of my money and I drove that car not knowing that maintenance and everything else comes with the ownership of a car. I didn’t have money to pay for the repairs on my car or maintenance on the car so I had to resort to doing it on my own and learning how to do it. It got me to the point where I understood how to repair a car or restoring the parts needed or replacing parts and I learned quickly how expensive it is if you have somebody else do it, so I began to gain an interest in the monetary part of it, but I also understood how important it was to get it done as soon as possible when I did have a problem with the car. When I started repairing cars I had somebody come to me and ask me if I could restore a car and at that point I realized how hard that was compared to replacing parts and doing regular maintenance on cars, so of course the harder a job is the more you’re going to get paid, the more money it takes putting it into a car with the parts, labor, time, and materials the more you’re going to get paid and when I did get paid, a lot more money, for restoring a car versus fixing a car I realized that this is the business I want to be in. When I started my business I had savings and I dove into the business headfirst thinking that this is what I want to do and this is what I love doing and this is where interest and passion is.
