First I was working at USC in their medical center making decent amounts of money but felt I was missing something. I wanted to start my own business so that I may be able to help those who couldn’t afford going to higher end clinics such as the USC medical center. I went into private practice after ten years and decided to start my business. I modeled out what my income would be if I did and predicted that I would have made more money if I ventured out to own my business. I figured that the rewards would greatly outweigh the risks and so far I have been proven right. My initial goal was to continue helping others while being my own boss making my own money and so far, it is one of the best decisions of my life so far.

I started with a car audio franchise doing the books for a few of the franchisees and then types. I chose accounting because it is a career that is always a demand. Most business owners either do not have time to do their numbers or do not like it. Number can become a headache when accuracy is not present. My goal has always been to be a CPA soon and have my own accounting firm and then I can do numbers nonstop I can do them until I die. I love what I do it’s the best.

They had a big expectation upon me and I did not want to break and fail their expectation. I started Japanese style teriyaki restaurant. I got recipe from my dad and change to my style of teriyaki. I liked it and also many people liked the new way of trying too. That how I got started the restaurant business. I have never knew I am going to be an owner of restaurant. It is very different than what I used to dream, but I am more satisfied now even though failed so many time by doing business.

It started when we had too much free time but it was starting to become a way for us to chase our dreams. We were making rap music and drinking beers for fun but we always wants to sell clothes to make money so we found a way to do it. Our aim was to sell clothing like Diamond and Crooks&Castles. We would buy big brands and sell them slightly cheaper online. We soon found out that no big brand would sell to a store that didn’t have a physical shop. We reached our first road block; we need a physical location. We opened up our own store in the Pomona Swap Mart off of Garey called Closet Collection. We started buying the clothes we wanted and learned a lot so we decide to start our own clothing line that involved collaboration with our friends that were artists and ideas that we could agree on. Our first venture into the clothing business was far from where we wanted to be but we were taking off as a local favorite amongst close friends and family. Soon we branched into the business that we started today. It was very an unorthodox process.
