| I have been dancing since I was 4 and I have a passion for it. I have danced ballet, jazz, tap and ballroom dance. I have been blessed to have the most supportive parents. You may ask yourself, how does a 4 year old know dancing is for them? For me it just became my life. I found myself dancing at all times. I danced competition for many of my childhood years. I took a little break in high school and then I danced while in college. I love kids and I love to dance and I wanted to bring my passion for dance to my community. I made the decision to open up my dance studio with the help of my parents. I opened up my first studio in my local neighborhood. The first studio was my baby; it was a huge place which I later found was too big a place that came with big bills and huge responsibility to fill. After a year when my lease was over I relocated to a smaller location still located within city limits. I can say it was the best decision I ever made. I am in heart of the city that I love. I like to be involved in the city events. My goal is to encourage dance in the local schools. I am involved with the chamber of commerce, with the local school district. I was born and raised in this city and it is important to be a part, in helping the local kids find their passion for dance. It doesn’t matter if dance is just a hobby or they truly have a desire to make dance a part of life. What I want is to have options for our youth to do extracurricular activities and stay out of trouble. |

What happened was, a friend of mine that was in the real estate business at the time. He had told me that I could do a lot better of financially in real estate than I could becoming and appraiser. So I decided to go ahead and try it and, I started working with him and I liked it because of the ability to be able to communicate with people and being out on the field. I also loved becoming my own boss as I was out there on the field. Also so many other things that go with it, that made me decide to get my license in real estate and this is why I got into the real estate business. I really enjoyed the freedom of becoming to be my own boss, I have coworkers but it is still my own business and I like that part very much. My initial goal was actually to start a business and become successful at it. Financially I figured if I am successful in the business at what I do then, the money comes later. A lot of people get into the business for the money. If they are not successful; the money comes and goes and does not come in on a regular basis. If you are successful in what you do in business and, know how to treat people and have a good reputation and provide the service that the people want for them, then business will come to you. People will refer you through word of mouth, which is also the best way of advertisement by recommendation. Which is the best way to get clients and, when you are thinking about person number two that is another way of gaining clients by the way I perform and my reputation. This is what initially I was looking for is to become successful and be able to do this on my own, treating people right and provide the service they want. |
