NAICS: 722 Food Services and Drinking Places Description: Bar and Grill |
| I decide to get in to this business because of family and the location with the initial goal of making money. I got in this business because my father owns his own bar. I worked at the bar as a waiter while going through school and really like the environment. I decide to own my own bar because my brother and I could not run my father’s business together so I step away. Location was a other reason why I got in to this business. I was looking for a place to go out and drink near the area I moved to and see that there was not a lot of choices in the area. I also didn’t think the drinking establishments were missing my target audience. I found a nice location and open my business. I deiced to get in to this business because my father owned one and the location was a good place to put one with the initial goal of making money. |

NAICS: 334 Computer and Electronic Product Manufacturing Description: Rave LED Light super store |
| Bad customer service. Four years ago, my girlfriend ordered a pair of rave lights from an online retail store and she had to wait over 2 months to receive her product. After researching online and realizing there were no other companies that offered those products, it sort of just clicked and we built a company to fill that void. |

NAICS: 423 Merchant Wholesalers, Durable Goods Description: Wholesale Plumbing Parts Distributor |
| • I was originally in the import tile business and the construction industry declined so my Father and I decided to go into the wholesale plumbing industry focusing on specialty repair parts. We knew other people in the business and they were doing very well and we originally went into business with an equity partner. After several years, we decided to buy the partner out, taking complete control of the company. We continued on as sole owners. • My initial goal was to take the business over from my father. In twenty-six years my business sales have steadily increased, although some years have been tougher than others, with many years just breaking even. During tough economic times, I was forced to reduce our work force which added more work for the employees that remained. |

NAICS: 312 Beverage and Tobacco Product Manufacturing Description: Dietary Supplement |
| It’s kind of a funny story…I have owned a nationwide healthcare recruiting company for years. I have added a few other down lines in the past, some have been successful and others have not, but my next-door-neighbor is actually the third highest ranking sales associate for Jusuru. He and I were talking about business opportunities and we got to talking about my database and rather than giving him my leads I decided to open a DBA through my parent company and give it a go. My initial goal was to make enough money to cover the cost of the product for my family and also have enough of a monthly passive income that I don’t have to stress about college funds for our oldest child. But once I went to the national Jusuru event and saw how incredible the product truly is and the amount of revenue that is possible I really got excited and asked some of my staff to add to Jusuru to their business desk and work on it as well. I have another DBA that we got going at the same time so I will actually be able to compare the two and then decide which one I keep and invest money into or lose one or both. |

NAICS: 541 Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services Description: Tax and Accounting Services |
| My original goal was to get an accounting degree, but life happened, I had 4 children so I never finished my degree. However, I was fortunate enough to find a job with a friend of mine who opened a leather business downtown. He taught me how to keep a manual set of books; this is where I really feel in love with accounting. Then I went to a CPA office in Covina, where I was learned to do multiple sets of books for 15 years. I had an opportunity to learn how many different industries kept their books and did their payroll. I also wanted to learn taxes, so I went to work for H & R Block; this was an excellent foundation for me. Then I went to work for a tax practice where I learned corporate taxes and how to represent people before the I.R.S., but I needed a designation to do this. I decided to become an enrolled agent where I can represent people before the I.R.S. and the Franchise Tax Board. Staring my own business had begun to appeal to me more and more, so I did it, I bought a tax business, and this is where the next chapter of my life begins. |

| I decided to get into this business because I felt the need to help people that are suffering due to the economic crisis. There are many companies’s out there taking advantage of people and it is my goal to do just the opposite. I want to have a safe yet effective place for people to go and trust when they are in need of issues relating to their home, mortgage or other financial struggles. My initial goal is to maintain and operate a small family business. It ultimately turned into a good size company compiled of experts in many areas of the financial aspects of things as well as a skillful group of legal professionals. So, my ultimate goal is to help people, make profit, and have my company be successful. |

NAICS: 722 Food Services and Drinking Places Description: Coffee Shop Vegan Restaurant |
| Two things... The town I moved to did not have any type of coffee shop, I consider that almost a death sentence, after I could t convince any of my friends to open one I decided to do it my self. I read Chris gullibeaus book the art of non conformity. Somewhere in there he mentions identifying the 3 or 4 activities that make you the happiest and finding a way to get paid to do those things every day. I found out that I love meeting new people, playing music with friends, and knitting next to a fire while drinking good tea. So I opened a shop where I do just that, almost every day. Can't be shy as a business owner, especially at a coffee shop, everyone has to love you or they don't tip and don't come back |

NAICS: 722 Food Services and Drinking Places Description: Chinese & Thai Cuisine |
| I decided to get into my restaurant business after receiving prior work experience as a cook for many other restaurants. I can cook Chinese, Cambodian, and Thai cuisines and thought maybe I can utilize my cooking knowledge for the benefit of starting my own restaurant business. I became the owner and partnered with three other people with similar work experience and cooking knowledge. Our initial goal was simple: make our own money while working for ourselves rather than for others. |

NAICS: 311 Food Manufacturing Description: mexican delights, treats , |
| This is one of my favorite questions to answer due to the reason that I get to talk about my family and where I grew up. As a kid growing up my parents and well basically my whole family we helped out in the family business you could say that in Zapopan we were like the business family. Everyone had a specific job even the littlest of my siblings. We were in charge of delivering milk to every house and actually distributing meat in the meat shops. We had various stands of fruit and food. When I came here to the USA I wanted to have a small business not intentionally to make money but to keep myself busy. That’s when I began working from and calling friends over to try and soon just like that I had my regular costumers who regularly ordered anywhere from 1 Mangolada to up to 15. |
